We took this pic at the Comedy Outpost show this past Saturday in Burbank. The show was a BLAST! Scott Everett Berger hosted the show while Doug, Fernando, and Gayla brought the house down with their comedy. The lovely Girlie Show did a burlesque dance number to David Rose's "The Stripper" and steamed up the place!

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to produce this show, and to everyone that attended this little suare'!!!

Richard Pryor

LOS ANGELES -
Richard Pryor, the caustic yet perceptive actor-comedian who lived dangerously close to the edge both on stage and off, has died. He was 65.

He died sometime late Friday or early Saturday of a heart attack at his home in the San Fernando Valley, according to his ex-wife Flyn Pryor.

Thanks for your inspiration Richard.

Last night The Comedy Outpost hosted a B.B.Q. & Home Ranting Network show at Casa de Berger. Aproximately 20 friends and family were on hand for the much needed break from work and the daily grind. Barbecued chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs (Hebrew National of course!) with all the fixin's, as well as Scott's famous garlic bread and plenty of beer was the fare of the night. Dessert was an assortment of delicious cookies, Beth's traditional 'broken' cake, and lots of laughs provided by Scott Everett Berger, Fernando Rivera, Doug Mortenson, and of course our humbly intoxicated audience.

Last night was our first Home Ranting Network show, hosted by Scott & Beth Berger, and it was a HUGE success! It was a cozy show with Scott taking the role of Master of Ceremony. The featured 'ranters' were Curt Willoughby, Gayla Johnson-Dean, and Doug Mortenson.

The Berger's put on a nice spread of chips & various dips, a delicious cookie assortment, beer, wine, soda and water. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the show.

This is where we - Scott, Doug and Beth will be blabbing about...well, whatever we feel like blabbing about! It's our forum to communicate our thoughts and feelings in and around our comedy shows and such.
